Alma Leona Steidinger, 89, formerly of Athens, died at 4:45 a.m. Dec. 22, 1993, at a local nursing home in Wausau. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Athens, with the Rev. Gary Paul officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Hamburg. Visitation will be at Kramer Funeral Home, Athens, from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and then at the church from 10 a.m. until service time Friday. A Scripture service will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She was born Sept. 1, 1904, in Hamburg, to the late August and Anna (Koehler) Natzke. She was married to Otto Steidinger June 24, 1926, at Salem Lutheran Church, Hamburg, and he died Jan. 25, 1985. She had been a resident of Stratford in the late 1920s. She later was a resident of the town of Rib Falls and town of Hamburg for 16 years. She did the bookwork for Steidinger Oil Co. from 1957-85. She also had played the organ for Salem Lutheran Church and St. John's Lutheran Church in the town of Rib Falls. Survivors include two sons, Arthur of Hamburg and Arnold of Athens; one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Dorothea) Woller of Tomahawk; one brother, Rudolph Natzke of Kenosha; and two grandchildren. She was also predeceased by one sister, Adela Natzke.
