Mrs. Carol Ann Creekmore Stephens, 86, of Winfield, TN, departed this life on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Williamsburg Health & rehabilitation Center. Born August 29, 1936 In Dayton, TN, she was the daughter of the late Forrest H. & Mable Walker Creekmore.

Carol loved the Lord and was Saved at the age of 15 years old. Carol was a dedicated to the Winfield Baptist Church which she joined in 1951 and was very supportive of the youth Ministry. She was graduate of the Oneida High School 1954. She then married her husband Tom in 1955. She was a "Stay at home Mom" who was dedicated to raising her children, often with her husband deployed with the U.S. Navy. During those months of deployment she had the role of Mom and Dad. Carol was recognized by the Military for completing her tour as a Navy Wife. In 2000 she along with her husband, Joined Servants on Wheels Ever Ready (SOWER) where she worked 20 projects, including the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico and the Hopi Reservation in Arizona.

In addition to her parents she is preceded death by her husband: Thomas Ray Stephens; Brothers: Clay B. Creekmore, & Paul W. Creekmore; Sisters: Lillian Creekmore, and Lucille Creekmore Terry.

She is survived by her son: Thomas Ray Stephens, Jr. and wife Tammy; Daughter: Teresa Ann Stephens Richardson and husband Curtis; Grandchildren: Shawn Michael Richardson and wife Heidi, Thomas Clark Stephens, and Sarah Elizabeth Stephens; Great-Greatchildren: William Thomas Richardson, & Rory Clark Durham; and many other relatives and friends.
