Isabelle Koster, the daughter of Gerhard and Hulda (Preuss) Beeck, was born on March 23, 1938 on a farm in Hershey Twp., Nobles Co., MN. She was baptized into His grace on May 15, 1938. At the age of 2 the family moved to Fulda. Her unwavering faith continued when she attended St. Paul's Lutheran School. Izzie attended Fulda High School and was editor of the yearbook, member of the Girls Glee Club and mixed choir and was an honor student. While in high school she met her best friend and the love of her life, Larry Koster. They made it official in the eyes of our Lord over 60 years ago on October 19, 1962. Her career began as a legal secretary for Attorney Roy Reitz and Merlyn Anderson. She was also a fill-in legal secretary for several other area attorneys. Izzie retired after 43 years and then became a cashier at Casey's General Store for 13 years. Her endless faith was used to bring as many souls as she could gather to know Jesus. Her dedication to the Trinity was shown by serving St. Paul's Lutheran Church by teaching Sunday School for over 40 years, acting on the LWML and helping with Altar Guild. She not only taught God's Word, but she displayed it through delicate craftsmanship of banners that were presented at multiple Baptisms, Confirmations and Weddings. Izzie also showed her love to her family by drawing and painting portraits of them. Her other hobbies included watching, jumping and shouting for the Minnesota Vikings as well as the twins. Cooking was also a form of love she demonstrated to family and friends. She could be depended on for multiple tips and tricks she learned through her library of cookbooks. Izzie was received in Jesus' loving arms on February 10, 2023 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 84. She will be sorely missed, but we will celebrate in knowing she is abiding in God's love.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Koster; 2 sons, Daniel (Sherry) Koster and Marty Koster; 3 grandchildren, Kyle (Sarah) Koster, Jessica (Steve Kass) Koster and Cody (Mady) Koster; 2 great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Ellie Mae Koster; 2 brothers, Lyle Beeck and Bernie (Lila) Beeck; sister, Evie Beck; many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lester Beeck and sisters, Irene Schuur, Vi Christensen, Ione Nuemann, Darlene Gehl and Elaine Ruesch, and an infant brother.
