Rev. Hiram Clayton Griffin was the son of Jacob Franklin "Frank" and Sarah Jane (McKinney) Griffin. He was the husband of Viola Rosa (Thompson) Griffin. They were married in 1914. Viola died in 1978. Rev. Griffin was a minister in the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church.
