Rush City Post, Rush City, Minnesota, January 26, 1906: Died. Minnie Estella Hosier, wife of Alfred McClatchey breathed her last on Monday, Jan. 22, 1906, at [blank] o'clock p.m. Deceased was the daughter of Rev. J. C. Hosier of Colesburg, Iowa, and was born June 12, 1868. Most of her childhood days were spent at Manchester, Delaware County, Iowa, which state had been her home most of her life. A family of six small children are left motherless by the death of Mrs. McClatchey. Two girls, daughters by a former marriage and two girls and two boys, children of her present husband. Most pathetic was the death of the mother lying in her last sleep with the infant daughter whose birth just preceded her death clasped in her arms. Three brothers and two sisters survive the deceased. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, Jan. 26th, with burial at Rock Creek.There is a Baby buried with Minnie; we have no further info on the baby at this time.
