Mrs. Lulu E. (Mohler) Beisel, who celebrated her 100th birthday on Nov. 2, 1969, died at the Williams Ross Annex on Tuesday at 4:15 p.m.

She had made her Home with her daughter, Mrs. Gladys Wommack, 115 Connolly St. in West Lafayette. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mohler and born and reared south of Bunnell Cemetery in Clinton County. She lived in Mulberry from 1939 until 1950 when she went to West Lafayette.

Mrs. Beisel was a former school teacher. She taught elementary grades and music. She was a graduate of Terre Haute State Teachers College. She was a member of the United Church of Christ at Mulberry, a former …, a member of the missionary society and a Sunday School teacher. In … she joined the Federated Church in Lafayette, of which she was the oldest member.

She was married in 1892 to the Rev. Clarence Brigham, who died in 1926. In 1929 she married Peter Beisel, who died in 1950.

…Two sons preceded her in death, C. Wilford Brigham and Paul O. Brigham. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held at the Soller-Baker Funeral Home, Lafayette at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Francis W. Trimmer officiating. Interment was in St. Luke Cemetery, Clinton County.
