William L. Prime
ROWLEY -- William L. Prime, 112 Central St., died Thursday [sic] at the VA Hospital in Boston after a long illness.
He was born in Rowley on June 18, 1921, the son of the late George Elliott and Edna (Hardy) Prime and lived in Rowley most of his life.
Before his illness, he was owner of a roofing business. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of the DAV and of Post 1093, VFW, in Ipswich.
He is survived by a brother, Daniel P. of New York City; two sisters, Muriel Prime of Rowley and Mrs. Sally Lenz of Clifton, N.J.; also several aunts and nephews.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Roberts Funeral Home, 14 Independent St., Rowley, with burial to follow in the Main Street Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
