Alberta Akers was the daughter of the late Wilbern and Dora Naomi (Dye) Akers and a step-daughter of Victor Taylor. She was reared in the home of her grandparents, Nannie and Ora Dye.
Miss Akers lived many years in Lebanon and lived the past 33 years in Brownsburg. She was interested in Bingo and Bible Study.
She is survived by five sisters and a brother and several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were a brother, Victor Taylor Jr. and a sister, Myrna Burtner.
