Floyd Lester Teal, 94, of Orange, Texas passed away on February 9, 2023 at Spanish Trails Assisted Living in Silsbee, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5~7pm., Friday, February 17, 2023 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas, on April 19, 1929, Floyd was the son of Felix Teal and Theodcie (Cassel) Teal.

Floyd was a veteran of the United States Army and he worked as a heavy equipment operator for Local 450 Operators for many years. He was an outdoorsy man and enjoyed working in his garden. Floyd was a simple kind of man and loved being able to help anyone in need. He loved his wife and children very much and would do anything for them. Floyd will be deeply missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Theodcie Teal, his wife, Dora Teal, his sons, Ronald Teal and Richard Billiot and brothers, Charles Teal, Jack Teal, Jesse Teal and Lloyd Teal.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Teal and wife Suzann of Buna, Texas, Randall Teal and wife Roseanna of Athens, Texas, Glenn Teal and wife Rhonda of Sourlake, Texas and Wilson Ewing, Jr. of Baytown, his daughters Deborah Hopson and husband Eugene of Merryville, Louisiana, and Brenda Killen and husband Keith of Steel Town, Missouri, 16 grandchildren and numerus great-grandchildren, as well as other loving family and friends.
