William Clift Jordan passed away on February 9, 2023 at his home. He was born in Heber City, Utah. His parents were J.W. Jordan and Lula DeEsta Bond.

Clift spent his early life on the Jordan Ranch north of Heber, Utah. He enjoyed working with his dad and other family members and learning the sheep and cattle business.

Clift attended Wasatch County schools and especially enjoyed playing on the high school basketball team.

He married Jane Johnson on May 26, 1951; they had three children Bill, Lynda, and Ken. The family was active in the sheep and cattle ranching life for many years in Wasatch, Summit, and Tooele counties. Clift was a member of the Heber Riding Club, Utah Wool Growers Association, and Utah Cattlemen's Association.

A ranch in Marion, Utah was purchased in 1970 and family members have enjoyed several reunions at the ranch.

Clift is survived by his loving wife, Jane, of Marion; daughter, Lynda (Jim) Johnson; son, Ken (Carolyn) Jordan; and daughter-in-law, Sharon. He will also be missed by his sister, Joyce (Tony) Burns; and his 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Phyllis, brother, Allen, and son, Bill.

A farewell and tribute for family and close friends will be held at the Crandall Funeral Home 105 East Center Street, Kamas, Utah, on Monday, February 13, 2023 at noon.

Burial will be in the Marion Cemetery, 832 East 2700 North, Marion, Utah at 1pm.
