He was born February 12, 1950 in Olney, IL to Ellis James & Alice Marie Young Elfreich.
Curtis worked as a Tool & Die Maker as well as a locksmith. He had worked at Impex and Hi-Tek for several years.
He loved antique cars, painting, music, and records as well as reading and writing stories.
On April 16, 1976, he married and she survives.
Also surviving are a sister and a Sister in Law. He was preceded in death by a brother Timothy Bruce Elfreich and a brother-in-law David Keith Brindle.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 11, at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Ave.
