Hiett E. Haines
Hiett E. Haines, 76, 1726 East 1st, died Tuesday at Hutchinson Hospital. Born
May 12, 1900 at Neola, he married Anna Avery Jan. 10, 1955 at Hutchinson. He
was an employee of Packaging Corporation and longtime resident of Hutchinson.
He was a member of Bethany Nazarene Church.
Survivors include widow; sons: Robert, Commerce City, Colo.; Jim, 9
Reformatory; daughter, Mrs. Pauline Glenn, Commerce City, Colo.; step-sons:
William H. Avery, 510 East 9th; Emmett Avery, 700 East C; Marion Avery, RFD 4;
Henry Avery, Clarks Grove, Minn.; step-daughters: Mrs. Myrtle Southards, 1009
East 10th; Mrs. June Crabbs, 716 East C; Mrs. Doris Swenson, 317 East 8th; Mrs.
Donna Caldwell, 620 West 7th; brother: Dave, Salida, Colo.; six grandchildren;
27 step-grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary; Rev. Harold Davis. Burial
will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening and 10 a.m. to
10 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
