Rosalie S. Hoyt, known to her friends and family as Rose, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, in Peoria, Illinois.

She was born on September 12, 1948, in Chicago IL, to the late George and Helena H. (Tandler) Stolte.

Rose was in the graduating class of 1966 at Oak Lawn High School in Oak Lawn, IL. While working for the Illinois Department of Corrections she met and married the love of her life Thomas H. Hoyt on February 11, 1984. She was a homemaker and belonged to the LaSalle County Historical Society (life member), American Legion Auxiliary Post 237 (life member), Bishop Hill Heritage Association, Lostant Ladies League, and with her husband, the Blacksmith Club.Rosalie S.
