Rosilee, Joan, John, Ron and Jim. They lived on a small farm about one mile north of Salmon most of their married life. Lucille was used to helping on her parents' farm and worked along-side of her husband in milking and feeding cows, haying, etc., as well as all the household chores. She loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener. She filled the yard and garden with beautiful flowers. She was a devout member of the LDS Church. She served a mission in Oklahoma, a stake mission in Salmon, and another with her husband in Vermont. She also held many positions in the various organizations including primary president. She was most happy when serving others. She suffered a stroke in December 1997, which she never fully recovered from. She was later cared for by her children in their homes. She died 8 February 2006 in Delta, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, husband, son, Lee and daughter, Rosilee and grandson, Todd Victor. She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth; a brother, Joseph; children, Carol (Wydell) Jeffrey of Delta, Utah; Joan Victor of American Fork, Utah; John (Elsa) Austin of Roy, Utah, Ron (Rita) Austin and Jim Austin both of Salmon; Gayle Austin, of Ogden, Utah; Gary Waite of Vancouver, Washington; Betty Austin of Salt Lake City, Utah; 40 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren. Her funeral was 18 February 2006 in the Salmon Stake Center, followed by burial in the Salmon Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Salmon River Funeral Chapel.
