Sophia Oatyer/Etcher was the daughter of Peter and Anna Maria (Becher) Oatyer/Etcher. She married James W. Bridwell in 1800, in Loudoun County, Virginia. They had 7 sons and 4 daughters. She died in July 1860 in Ross County, Ohio at the age of 78. Their children were: Lemuel, Rosanna, Samuel P., Josephus, James W. Jr., Martin, Elijah, Mary, Elizabeth, John and Sophia E. I don't know why "half-siblings" are coming up above the list of her brother and sisters, but it is a mistake. Sophia and all her brothers and sisters were children of Peter and Anna Oatyer/Etcher.
