George W. Brittain age 71, of Brownstown, Michigan and formerly of Barbourville, died October 21, 2011 in Brownstown, Michigan. He was a son of the late Beecher Brittain and the late Clara Campbell Brittain and a brother of the late William Brittain.
Mr. Brittain was the loving Father of Randy (Sandy) Brittain of Dearborn Heights, Michigan; Kimberly (Garry) VonLinsowe of Brownstone, Michigan; Grandfather of Cassie Brittain, Rachael Brittain, Justin VonLinsowe, and Austin VonLinsowe; Great Grandfather of Ronnie and Stevie. Dear Brother of June McCreary of Barnesville, Georgia; Loretta James of Rogersville, Alabama; Peggy Rowan of McDonough, Georgia; Carolyn (Bob) Henriksen of Commerce, Michiga; Dennie (Judy) Brittain of Big Rapids, Michigan; James (Sue) Brittain of Grosse Ile, Michigan; and Archie (Betty) Brittain of Pinckney, Michigan. He is also survived by a life long friend, Tom Chlebek of Brownstown, Michigan.
There will be Funeral Services for George R. Brittain, Monday, October 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Molnar Funeral Home in Brownstown, Michigan. Visitation will be Monday after 1:00 p.m.
A Memorial Service will be held later in Barbourville. Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of local arrangements.
