James Gregory Lefebvre, age 59, passed away November 10, 2005 in Fredericksburg. He is survived by his wife: Susan Olson of Fredericksburg; a sister: Yvonne Starr of Fredericksburg; a brother: Gary Lefebvre of Clovis, NM; an uncle Jack Lefebvre of Hondo and an aunt Eddie Jo Richardson of Snyder. He was born July 28, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA to James Lefebvre and Eloise Ida Jacoby Lefebvre. He was preceded in death by his parents.

As a young boy living in Houston, Texas, Greg was fascinated by ham radio and electronics. His call sign K5LTW has not been classified as a silent key. He served in the Merchant Marine during the Vietnam War in the area of communications. This love of electronics led to a long career as an audio design engineer for OEM products and Troton Electronic Industrial Company. He was also a distributor of High-end audio equipment in central and southeast, Texas during the 1980's and 1990's. He volunteered for several years as the treasurer for the Houston Vintage Radio Association and had a lasting impact on the club.

While living in Houston, he learned to fly and piloted many flights for a private individual and was also a flight instructor, which he enjoyed immensely. Another great interest in Greg's life was photography. He loved capturing the beauty of nature, from the smallest spider to a spectacular sunset. He work was published locally in the Fredericksburg Magazine and internationally on the Sigma Lens website. Greg also shot the album covers for several talented Houston musicians and was the photographer for the Hill Country Antique Tractor and Engine Club. He was an active member of the Fredericksburg Rock Hounds and took many pictures at the monthly meetings and the annual gem and mineral show.

Greg was a member of the Greater Life Christian Center of Fredericksburg and our hear felt thanks would like to be expressed to them and also to Vista Care Hospice for Comforting Greg in his last days on earth.

We will miss his friendly nature and his contagious smile!
