A native of Des Moines, Iowa, he was retired as Vice President of a pre-stressed concrete, company. James was also a US Marine veteran during the Korean War, a Methodist; a member and Past President of the Florida Concrete Pre-stressed Assoc.; a member of the Florida Lawn Bowling Assoc.; a member of the Mt. Dora Country Club; and he was an avid golfer.
James is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Shirley Joanne Anderson; son, William Clifford Anderson of Deltona, FL; daughters, Ann Marie Larson of Winter Haven, FL; Patti Jo Godber of Orlando, FL; Sandra Jean Anderson of Ormond Beach, FL; brother, Richard Anderson of Davenport, IA and eight grandchildren.
