Roberts.
Mrs. R. [sic] Roberts, nine miles southwest of Colchester, died Friday afternoon about 4 o'clock of epilepsy, aged 19 years. Funeral services were held at the Free Methodist church, west of White Flock, at 11 o'clock Sunday morning; interment in the cemetery at White Flock.
She was visiting Mrs. Belle Robinson, a neighbor, and fell face downward and suffocated. The coroner was notified and an inquest was held, the verdict being that she came to her death from suffocation.
Deceased maiden name was Clara Mattox [sic], and she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. [Lewis J. Mattocks]. She was born and lived all her life in the vicinity of Colchester. She had been a member of the Presbyterian church for a number of years. She is survived by her husband, but leaves no children. She leaves three brothers: Ed and Harry of Maricty [sic], N. M.; Lee of Peoria, and two sisters, Florence and Bernice.
