Marvin Gray Harrison (Shy), age 87, of Route 4, Box 40110, Winchester, died Monday, August 30, at Lincoln County Health Care. He owned and operated M. G. Harrison General Merchandise in the Marble Hill community for approximately 50 years. He was the son of James S. and Mattie Gray Harrison and was a member of the Marble Hill Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nannie Spencer Harrison. He is survived by two nieces, Claudette Stewart of Lynchburg and Betty Rae Poe of Tullahoma. Funeral services were Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Lynchburg Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Sawyer officiating. Interment was in Lynchburg Cemetery.
