Mrs. Easters Is Buried At Tryon

Funeral services were conducted at 10 AM today (Monday) for Mrs. Mary Ruth Easters, 91, of Kurten. Mrs. Easters died suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mr. B. F. Lloyd of Kurten, at 9;45 PM Saturday.

Services were held in the Hillier Funeral Home chapel with Rev. James A. Evans, pastor of the First Free Will Baptist Church, officiating, assisted by Rev. C. B. Thompson of Iola. Mrs. Easters was a member of the Bryan church.

Born Dec. 27, 1867, in Macon, Ga., Mrs. Easters had been a resident of the Brazos County community for 90 years. Besides Mrs. Lloyd, she is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. W. J. Lang of Waco, Mrs. W. T. Kelley of Kurten and Mrs. A. E. Tabb of Texarkana; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Lloyd of College Station; one brother, J. C. Cloud of Bryan; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grand children, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Easters was buried in the Tryon Cemetery beside her husband who died in 1946. Pallbearers were Don Lloyd, W. E. Tabb, M. A. Lang, Raymond Kilgo, Preston Smith and W. D. Bunting.

Music was presented by Imogene Nash Robertson.
