Mr. Jose G. Sedillo, 64, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on February 23, 2008, after a long illness with A.L.S. (Lou Gehrig's disease). He is survived by his beloved wife of forty five years, Betty; his eight children, Mary Ellen Shippee and husband, Michael, Leo Sedillo and wife, Peggy, Rebecca Sedillo, Sylvia Chapman, Viola Baca and husband, Ted, Jacob Sedillo and wife, April, Jose Antonio Sedillo and wife, Cellina and Juan Francisco Sedillo; his sister, Juanita Sanchez and husband, Florencio; his two brothers, Cristobal Sedillo and wife, Leonela and Marcos Sedillo and wife, Mary Lou; and eighteen grandchildren. Mr. Sedillo was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He was a member of the Catholic Church and a member of the choir and a very active member at the Church of the Ascension. Visitation for Mr. Sedillo will be Monday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by his daughter, Rebecca and granddaughter, Vanessa. Final visitation will be Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with Father Edmund Savilla presider. Interment to follow at Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Guillermo (Willie) Candelaria, Alberto Candelaria, Candido Padilla, Florencio Padilla, Dakota Crapse, Joshua Crapse.
