Emerson Victor Morse of 28 Church street died at the Hartford hospital Sunday as the result of injuries sustained last week while at work in Hartford. Mr. Morse, who was a carpenter, fell from a staging and broke three ribs. On account of his advanced age his condition became serious and he failed to rally. He was sixty-five years of age and leaves a wife and several children. The deceased was one of the original charter members of the Carpenters' union and with Michael O'Neill, was the only living member who formed the union twenty-seven years ago.
