Mary Frances Clark Cheek, 91, of Glenwood, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023, at Meadows Memorial Hospital in Vidalia, GA. She was born April 3, 1931, to the late Adril (A.T.) and Nora Celeste (Sumner) Clark. Mrs. Cheek was valedictorian of her graduating class at Shiloh High School. She studied x-ray technology and was the administrator of the Radiology Department at the Glenwood Hospital for many years. Mary was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church in Glenwood most of her life. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family and treasured time spent with them. Her generosity, loving heart, and joyful spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Cheek is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband: Billy Clay Cheek; daughters: Sherry Lee Cates and Casey Raulerson; grandson: Billy Joe Raulerson; sister: Lila Mae Gibbs; brothers: J.P.Clark and Randal Clark.
The family will be receiving friends for visitation Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 10:00 am with funeral service beginning at 11:00 am at Friendship Baptist Church in Glenwood. Interment will follow at Clark Family Cemetery in Glenwood
