Elizabeth Sue (Betty Sue) Lindsey Holewa, 71, passed away on December 17th, 2022, in Cleveland, TN. Betty sue was born on November 18th, 1951, in Chicago, IL. She was the 6th child of 12 born to Myrtle and James Lindsey. Betty Sue worked as a waitress for 45+ years and retired due to health reasons. She worked hard to raise her three sons, alone, and as mothers do, made many sacrifices to make sure they had all that they needed. She was a wonderful friend loved by so many. If you were fortunate enough to have known her, you know she was a special soul. She loved to do 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzles and crocheting. She was the best of us and will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and James Lindsey, four sisters, Linda Thompson, Carolyn Harris, Dorothy Pickering, and Ethel Reed, and three brothers, Bobby Lindsey, Jimmy Lindsey, and David Lindsey. She is also preceded in death by her nephew, Jeremy Elliott, whom she loved very much.

Betty Sue is survived by her three sons, numerous siblings, dozens of nieces and nephews, three granddaughters and her great nephew, Kemper. They had a special love, and he will miss his "Bebop" very much.

The family would like to thank all the staff in the Medical ICU at Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland. Not only did the staff provide professional health care, but also cared for her with great kindness and compassion.
