Benna McDonald was born August 18, 1943, in Denton, Texas, and was a resident of Henderson since 1973. Mrs. McDonald was a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Paramedic and founded Loving Heart Training Center with the American Heart Association. She was a member of the American Heart Association. Mrs. McDonald loved working at Henderson Memorial Hospital where she served in many capacities including, Safety Director, Education Director, teacher for the EMT and Paramedic classes, and delivering a lot of children over the 31 years she worked there. She loved taking care of people. She liked to knit, crochet, paint, and make jewelry. Mrs. McDonald was a member of First Baptist Church in Laneville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emanuel and Ima Jean Hertler.
