Known to many as Jean, she was born May 23, 1942 in Sabine County, Texas to Laurice and Eva Mae.
She was a lifelong resident of Sabine County and worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 30 plus years. Her greatest enjoyment after retiring was spending time with family just sitting around talking.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa and husband, James, of Joaquin, Texas, her sons, David and wife, Rita, of San Augustine, Texas and Tony and wife, Tiffany, of Pineland, Texas, her grandchildren, JT, Heather, Jennifer, Lonni, Matt, Tyler and BreeAnn, eleven great grandchildren, her brother, Donny of Hemphill and sister, Diann of Yellowpine,plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Tommy, sisters-in-law, Jenny and Nellie and brother-in-law, Wayne.
Graveside services will begin at 11am, Saturday, January 28, 2023 in Yellowpine Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Brother Charles Moody officiating.
In Lieu of Flowers, Jean's family requests donations instead be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children or St. Judes.
