Published in the Piscataquis (ME) Observer on 11 Mar 1852 p3: “DEATHS---In Foxcroft, on the 6th inst. Mrs. Pamelia, wife of Mr. Josiah Cole, aged 41 years and 10 months. Mrs. Cole had been for many years a christian ominent for her many virtues and greatly esteemed by all who knew her. During a short and painful sickness she manifested the utmost patience and resignation. She was a kind hearted woman and gained the good will of all that became acquainted with her. She was a virtuous wife and kind mother. Her death is a great loss to the whole neighborhood.”
