MARVIN BROWN WILIAMS, 80, Hamilton died on Thursday, January 4, 1996, in the Marion Baptist Medical Center in Hamilton. He was born on January 28, 1915, in Marion County, the son of Peter and Margaret Elizabeth Nichols Williams.

He was a retired barber, self-employed in Hamilton.

He was preceded in death by three sons Robert, Rayford and Randy Williams.

Funeral services were held on Monday, January 8, 1996, at 2 p.m. from the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Hamilton City Cemetery. Jim Carr was the officiating minister.

Survivors include his wife - Mamie Williams, Hamilton; four daughters - Johnnie Fay Tice, Wanda Head and Barbara Cochran, all of Hamilton, and Dianne Buckner, Haleyville; four sons - R.V. Williams, Paul Williams, Watha Williams, all of Hamilton, and Jerry Williams Hackleburg; two brothers - Fred Williams and Haston Williams, both of Hamilton; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Hamilton Funeral Home directed the services.
