He was a retired barber, self-employed in Hamilton.
He was preceded in death by three sons Robert, Rayford and Randy Williams.
Funeral services were held on Monday, January 8, 1996, at 2 p.m. from the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Hamilton City Cemetery. Jim Carr was the officiating minister.
Survivors include his wife - Mamie Williams, Hamilton; four daughters - Johnnie Fay Tice, Wanda Head and Barbara Cochran, all of Hamilton, and Dianne Buckner, Haleyville; four sons - R.V. Williams, Paul Williams, Watha Williams, all of Hamilton, and Jerry Williams Hackleburg; two brothers - Fred Williams and Haston Williams, both of Hamilton; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Hamilton Funeral Home directed the services.
