Jack was born Oct.14, 1938, in Carbon, Iowa, the son of Carl Leo and Freda Bell (Walton) Villers. He died Oct. 13, 2011, in Coos Bay of heart related causes.
He moved to Portland then to Coos Bay in 1946. Jack and Betty Jean Howell were married Oct. 19, 1959, in Coos Bay.
In 2000 after 41 years of service, Jack retired from Weyerhaeuser where he drove log trucks and worked in construction. He loved his family; enjoyed hunting, camping traveling and his dear friends. We love and miss you!
Jack is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jean Villers; sons, Duane S. Villers and Mitchel B. Villers; grandchildren, Jennifer G. Hickey, Michael S. Villers and Jesse D. Villers; great-grandchildren, Kailer Hickey and Chase Hickey all of Coos Bay; sisters, Betty LaRose of Coos Bay and Nancy of Arkansas; sister-in-law, Sally Villers of Medford; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Leo B. Villers; and sister, Darlene Brannon.
