THOMAS' OBITUARY
Thomas G. Dreffs of Redford, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife, siblings and niece and nephew on January 9, 2023, he was 72. Born in Hamtramck, MI to Jane Valentine (Klonica) and Louis F. Dreffs. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Donna (Warzywak) Dreffs, his sister Andrea (Conrad) Schwartz, his brother Paul (Michelle) Dreffs, his brother Lawrence Dreffs, his sister Patricia (Lawrence) Schultz, brother Kenneth Dreffs (Sharon Cook) and his brother-in-law Rick (Barbara) Warzywak. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Jane & Louis Dreffs, his brother Michael Dreffs, his in-laws Joseph Warzywak & Alicia Russell. He is also survived by his niece Lisa (Stephen) Ranzini, nephew Jon Michael (Shaun) Schwartz, niece Amanda (Nuno) Marques, nephew Matthew (Krystle) Warzywak, niece Megan (Kyle) Bowen nephew Micah Warzywak. Uncle Tommy is also survived by great nieces and nephews: Caleb, Eliana, Judah & Eden Marques, Joseph, Liliana & Isabella Ranzini, Connor, Colin, & Cole Schwartz, and Ezekiel, Zoe & Eliza Warzywak.

Tom was a graduate of Southfield High School class of 1969. Tom was a Southfield City Carrier for the United States Postal Service for 50 years! He found great joy in cooking, dancing Polka with his wife Donna, dining out with friends & neighbors, fishing, attending mass at Saint Priscilla Catholic Church, tinkering with small engines and working on his truck. Tom found it easy to strike up a conversation with anyone. His joyful smile and kind spirit will be missed by many colleagues, family, friends and neighbors.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation at Charles Step Funeral 18425 Beech Daly, Redford Charter Township, MI 48240 from 3:00-8:00pm Thursday, January 12, 2023. Visiting Friday 9:30 am until 10 am Funeral Mass at Saint Priscilla Catholic Church, 19120 Purlingbrook Street, Livonia, MI 48152 (W of Middlebelt, N of 7 Mile) Burial will be at Holy Sepulcher following the mass.
