His siblens were: brothers, James Bryum "Pete" Huggins, Sam Huggins, Edward Ray Huggins; and one sister, Dora Huggins Boren. They preceded him in death.
On 13 August 1985 he married Mrs. Robbie Armstrong Ausmus. He is survived by his wife, Robbie; stepsons, Richard Ausmus and Ronald Ausmus and a step daughter, Kathy Ausmus Rutherford.
