MULLINS - Mrs. Carrie Crystal Bessetti, 38, wife of Matt Bessetti, of Mullins, SC passed away peacefully and was called home by the Lord on the morning of January 12th, 2023. "Crissy" was born on November 28, 1984, a daughter to Timothy Cook and the late Nancy Turner.

Carrie graduated from Marion High School and got her nursing license from Marion County School of Practical Nursing. Being a nurse was a passion of hers that she got from her Mom and she thoroughly enjoyed serving at Mullins Nursing Home and treasured those memories well after leaving due to health reasons. She was a faithful member of Gapway Baptist Church and loved serving God with everyone there and valued the relationships she had with everyone there immensely. Her family also meant everything to her, and she loved each and every one deeply.

Surviving Crissy are a daughter, Shelley Alexandria Bessetti and a special daughter Gabrielle Lynn Johnson, whom she was anxious to become Mom to; and a sister, April Enscoe of Conway.

Visitation with the family will be held Sunday evening, January 15th, 2023, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Monday afternoon, January 16th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Stephen D. Bailey and Rev. Art Ramsey officiating. Crissy will be laid to rest in Red Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Services will be livestreamed on the Cox-Collins Facebook page for those unable to attend.
