• HEALDTON -- Services for Doyle Throneberry, 69, Lone Grove, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2001, at Spivey's Reser Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Dixie Cemetery in Stephens County, Okla.

Mr. Throneberry was born Aug. 30, 1931, at Healdton to Walter Lewis and Gladys Paulene Mooneyham Throneberry. He died June 27, 2001, at his home in Lone Grove.

He served with the U.S. Air Force for 22 years, including in the Vietnam War, and not only did he travel while in the Air Force, he displayed his talent as a musician around the country. He was a member of VFW and Masonic Lodge. His faith was Assembly of God.

He and Blanche Shrum were married April 4, 1992, at Lone Grove.

Survivors include his wife of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Ellen Throneberry, Hobart; a sister, Dorothy Marie "Dotty" Gaines, Lone Grove; grandson, Johnny Hunter, Virginia; granddaughter and her husband, Lorrie and Kenny Robbins, Hobart; two great-grandsons, Jacob Robbins and Justin Robbins, Hobart; three great-granddaughters, Cheyenne Robbins, Taylor Robbins and Jessica Hunter, Hobart; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathalee Delores Throneberry, on Feb. 5, 1991; two infant sons, Steven and Jackie; two brothers, Orbin and Marvin; and his parents.
