Katrina Gayle Miller Jones Logsdon, 44, of Elizabethtown, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Hosparus Health Inpatient Care Center. Born on August 17, 1978 in Hardin County, Kentucky.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafting, writing, reading, and photography. She loved to smile, make people laugh, and loved children. She was an Event Planner. Katrina was a Girl Scout Leader for 12 years and a youth softball coach. She was never on time and was a fast driver, but was slow as molasses.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse Lee Jones; her grandparents, Bloomer and Thelma Young, Bub and Nancy Miller, and Janice Spencer.
Survivors include her husband, Jason E. Logsdon of Elizabethtown; four children, Taylor Jones of Elizabethtown, Dorothy Nicole (Jacob) Allgood of Louisville, Jefferson Jones of Louisville, and Isaac Jones of Leitchfield; her mother, Debra Hotka of Elizabethtown; her father, Jerry (Brenda) Young of New Haven; a sister, Tamarra (Joseph) Curry; three brothers, Kevin Young, Nathan (Mary) Young, and Dennis Knight; three granddaughters, Elizabeth Sunshine Allgood, Ashland Jones, and Stormy Jones; her fur baby, Mazy; and multiple extended family members.
The funeral is Saturday at 11 am with Brother Leroy Routt. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and continues after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial follows in Valley Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
