FAIRBANK -- Eileen Eleanor Fratzke, 97, of rural Fairbank, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, at ABCM Rehabilitation Center of Independence - East Campus. She was born Nov. 22, 1918, north of Dunkerton in Black Hawk County, daughter of Charles Edward and Kathryn Marie Niebuhr Moulds. She married Harold Louis Fratzke on May 15, 1945, in Fairbank.

Following high school she earned a teaching certificate at Iowa State Teachers College, Cedar Falls, and then taught for a year in rural schools in Fairbank. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Jesup.

Survived by: a daughter, Marie (Jerry) Weber; two sons, Don L. and Clark (Donna); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Heth and Lois (David) Enyart and Beverly Morris; and a brother, Charles Moulds.

Preceded in death by: her parents; three sons, Gerald D., Gene L. and Allan H.; two sisters, an infant and Doris Weiden; and two brothers, Elmer and George Moulds.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Grace Lutheran Church, Jesup, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Fairbank Cemetery, Fairbank. White Funeral Home, Jesup, is assisting the family.
