A native of Preble County, she was a daughter of Elmer and Mamie (Mikesell) Gardner, and was a member of the Gratis United Methodist Church.
Her husband, William Lipscomb, died in 1977.
Survivors include one son, Paul Boyd of Gratis; one stepson, Jess Lipscomb of Eaton; two stepdaughters, Alma Jean Hart of Dayton and Virginia Rosell of Peebles; three sisters, Neva Stiver, Esther Boyd, both of Germantown, and Betty Jo Goad of West Alexandria; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, May 6, at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, with the Rev. Gordon Jones officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Gratis.
