Randy Eugene Roy, age 66, of Fairdale, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, January 9, 2023. He was born on July 15, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Roy worked at UPS where he fueled jets for many years. He was a member of Valley View Church. His passion was softball where he was inducted in the Softball Hall of Fame in 1997. He was an avid UofL Cardinals fan and enjoyed metal detecting. He is preceded in death by his parents, Armra and Pearl Roy; son, Tyler Roy; one sister; and mother-in-law, Beulah Paulley. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife ; daughter, 2 brothers, 1 sister; ; father-in-law ; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. A private graveside service will be held. Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
