Delia Florence Oechsle, 94, of Eaton, died Sunday, Sept. 20, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Ind. Born Sept. 23, 1903, in West Alexandria, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah Jane (Rigney) O'Dell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Leroy "Roy" Oechsle, in 1991; and a daughter, Anita Jane Oechsle, in 1934.
Survivors include one son, Donovan "Don" Oechsle of Eaton; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Rawleigh O'Dell of Louisville, Ky.; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Barnes Funeral Home-Eaton Chapel, 220 E. Main St., with the Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
