Helen Morris, 74, of Gratis, died Tuesday, March 12, at Heartland of Eaton. Born Nov. 12, 1927, in Pikeville, Ky., she was the daughter of Bertha Coleman. She retired from General Motors in 1983 where she was a factory worker.

Survivors include her husband, William Morris; one son, Johnny Mullins of Dayton; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Walter Coleman of Clay City, Ky.; four sisters, Rosemary Peace of Wise, Va., Lorine Coleman of Dayton, Anna May Anderson and Fayetta Thacker, both of Pikeville, Ky.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Mullins.

Funeral services were Saturday, March 16, at Faith Chapel, Farmersville,with Pastor Tod Smith officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria. Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, was in charge of arrangements.
