Kay Shaver Daniel, 83 of LaFayette passed away January 8, 2023 at her residence. Funeral services will be 2:00pm, January 11, 2023 at Milltown Baptist Church, visitation will be 12:00pm until 2:00pm prior to the service. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill UMC Cemetery. Paul Howard is officiating.
Mrs. Daniel lived most of her life in LaFayette and retired from West Point Pepperell. She was a member of Milltown Baptist Church.
Mrs. Daniel is preceded in death by her husband, Wyatt Daniel; daughter Chris Callahan; parents, Marvin and Susie Shaver; siblings: Troy Shaver, Annie Shaver Polk, Hoyt Shaver, Lucille Shaver Bence, James Shaver, Dot Shaver Hopkins, Doris Shaver Hadaway, Betty Shaver White, Joe Shaver, and Roy Shaver.
She is survived by her sons, Lynn (Danielle) Callahan, Joey (Suzanne) Callahan; grandchildren, Joseph Callahan, Blake Rogers, and Josh Rogers; five great-grandchildren; sister, Faye Shaver (Billy Joe) McDonald; sister-in-law Pat Shaver; and numerous nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Bethany House in her honor.
