Our spunky mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother lost her battle against the demon pancreatic cancer on September 18, 2015 while receiving tender loving care from family, Hearts for Hospice, and staff at the Country Life Care Center.
She was proud to be one of the last residents to be born in Bluffdale and lived there all of her ninety-one years.
She married Neils Parry in the Salt Lake Temple on December 2, 1940 and had six children: Peggy Milligan (George), Randy (Cheryl Rhea), Claudia Anderson, Scott Parry, Michael Parry (Debbie Tweedy), and Halley Parry; eighteen grandchildren, fifty-one great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neils Parry; son-in-law, John S. (Jack) Anderson; and grandson, Kevin Parry.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bluffdale Second Ward Chapel, 14400 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Bluffdale. Viewings will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 South 2200 West, Riverton, and one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday.
