He is survived by his son, Don A. Bazer, Sr. and his wife JoAnne of Lafayette; his daughter, Marilyn Bazer Kitchell and her husband James of Baton Rouge; his granddaughters, Toni E. Bazer of Madisonville and Donna Bazer Romero and her husband Tommy of New Iberia; his grandsons, Don A. Bazer, Jr. of Baton Rouge and Michael W. Bazer of Abbeville and one great granddaughter, Mia Elise Romero of New Iberia.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Mary Marcella Bish Bazer; his parents, Walter D. Bazer and Carrow Hinkie Bazer; his brothers, Olan and Walter D. Bazer and his sister, Virginia Bazer Starnes.
Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery. David Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter St. is in charge of arrangements.
