Bill was born May 27, 1933, in Westphalia, Kansas, to William Orval Doman and Amy Adelaide Quiggle Doman. He grew up and attended schools in Grace, Bancroft, and graduated from Pocatello High School. He also attended the University of Utah where he earned his Bachelor's Degree. He served as a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
On August 8, 1952, he married Bonne Carol Bradley in the Idaho Falls Temple. To this union were born four children, Bradley, Kirk, Karen, and Jay. Bill and Bonne raised their family in Denver, Colorado; Salt Lake City, Utah; Pleasanton, California; and Idaho Falls, Idaho. Bill worked in Corporate America and owned and operated several of his own businesses.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ and served in various callings through the years, including serving a mission in the Washington D.C. Temple with his sweetheart.
Bill enjoyed many things, including "Giving Counsel," fishing Henry's Lake, genealogy, traveling with friends, his cabins and three ring binders. Oh, and "Giving Counsel."
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonne Doman; sister, Deloris Myers; son-in-law, Jared Fuhriman; grandson, Adam Fuhriman; and great-granddaughter, Margaret "Maggie" Doman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Idaho Falls Stanfield Ward, 1925 E. 49th S. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
