W. S. BRENNEMAN, 81, DIES SUDDENLY AT HOME NEAR NEIMAN
Neiman, February 8 – William S. Brenneman, 81, a retired farmer, died suddenly this morning at 4:10 o'clock at his home, near here. The coroner, Dr. L. U. Zech, said death was caused by a heart ailment.
The deceased is survived by the following children: Mrs. Nathan Glatfelter, of Seven Valleys; Victor Brenneman, Hanover RD 1; Clarence Brenneman, York; Mrs. Lillie Leech, Baltimore; Mrs. Raymond Little, York; Curtis Brenneman, York; Harry Brenneman, in the U.S. Navy at Santiago; Luther Brenneman, Baltimore; Mrs. Hester Wolfgang, Lineboro; Mrs. John Ramble, York, and Chauncey Brenneman, with whom he lived; a sister, Mrs. Ella Dellinger, York; and three brothers, Albert and Eli Brenneman, both of near here, and George Brenneman, Glenville. Thirty-seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, also survive.
The funeral will be held on Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the house, with further services in Shaffer's Union Church. Rev. Kenneth S. Ehrhart, pastor of the Jefferson Lutheran charge, will officiate. Burial will be made in adjoining cemetery. Funeral Directors G. W. Geiple and Son, Glen Rock, are in charge of arrangements.
