Millie Butler Barlow was born in Hawkinsville, Pulaski County Georgia to Sarah Giddens Butler and Bright Butler, 11 June 1856. Sarah Giddens was the daughter of Abigail and E John Giddens.

Millie married William Jackson Barlow.

Millie died at the home of her daughter Mrs J A Roberts, in Waycross, Ware County, Georgia, 12 August 1937 and was buried in the same cemetery as her husband, at Pine Level Church Cemetery in Alma, Bacon County, Georgia.
