Phillips, Luther H., of Temple Terrace died Friday at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa. He was a a lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area, a bookkeeper, a World War II Navy veteran, and Protestant. He is survived by his wife, Anna; three sons, Glenn, Darwin and Wyche, all of Tallahassee; two daughters, Joan Maffei of Pennsylvania, and Alice Lemieux of Tallahassee; three stepdaughters, Linda Ann of St. Petersburg, Cathy Driggers of Lutz, and Silver Le Davis of Oregon; two brothers, David and Robert, both of Tampa; two sisters, Winnie Barco of Tampa, and Lucy of St. Petersburg; 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
