Following a short illness of pneumonia, Mrs. John C. Neuman, aged 68, practically a lifelong resident of Plains, died yesterday at the family home, 376 North Main street, Plains. Mrs. Neuman was a native of New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late William A. and Hannah Swayze who brought her to this section while she was still a little girl. She was a member of Plains Methodist Episcopal Church. Two daughters survive, Mrs. Howard Tomkins and Mrs. Milton J. Jones, both of this city.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 Thursday afternoon from the family home with services at the residence. Interment will be in the family plot at Hollenback cemetery.
