NASH, George S.; December 17, 2022 at the age of 104; beloved husband of the late Mary E. (nee Leach) Nash; dearest father of Barbara (Raymond) Noonan and George Robert (Peggy) Nash; loving grandfather of George Timothy (Jodie) and David R. Nash; great-grandfather of Addison Grace and George Henry Nash; dear brother of the late Wilbur (Allegra) Nash. George had a 42 year dedicated career at the Chevrolet Tonawanda Engine Plant. He was the past president of the Lake Erie Region AACA, a member of the Model "A" Restorer's Club, Vintage Chevrolet Club of America and the Deerhurst Church Building and Grounds Committee. George was deferred from serving in the military in WWII so that he could play a key role in building aircraft engines for the war effort. The family will be present on Thursday, December 29th from 3 to 7 PM at the (Tonawanda Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2600 Sheridan Drive (at Parker Blvd.). Funeral Services will be held privately. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on January 14th at 11 AM in the Deerhurst Presbyterian Church, 257 Deerhurst Park Blvd. (at Colvin Blvd.). For those unable to participate in person, the service will be available online at www.deerhurstchurch.org and look for Livestream.
