ST. ANNE -- Visitation for Marshall "Elwood" Craycraft, 73, of St. Anne, will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until the 11 a.m. services at the Clancy-Gernon-Houk Funeral Home in St. Anne.
Burial will be in the St. Anne Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family.
He died Wednesday (Feb. 4, 2004) at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
Mr. Craycraft retired after 25 years of service with the CE&I Railroad, now the Missouri Pacific Railroad.


He was born March 9, 1930, in Greenup, Ky., the son of Edward Mckinley and
Lenora Marshall Craycraft.

His wife, the former Doris Talley, whom he married March 6, 1950, in Watseka, died Aug. 15, 1979.


Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Kelvin and Vicki Craycraft of Momence; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Julie and Lloyd Marshall, Marsha Smith Ferreira, all of St. Anne, Paula and Doug Redenius of Momence, Kim Jackson of Martinton; one sister, Rosalie Craycraft of Ohio; one brother, Blaine Craycraft of Ohio; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Glenn and
Mckinley, Craycraft;
one sister, Anna Pauline Parent; and two stepbrothers, Henry and Leve
Dillow are deceased.
He enjoyed gardening and all sports, especially basketball, baseball, football and horseshoes.
